You Can Now Buy User-Created Mini Royale Skins!

The store is open! Head to your inventory to check out new skins for heroes in your collection

We’ve been talking about the importance and advantages of supporting user-generated content in our games for a while now.

From our recent compatibility partnership with Ready Player Me, which allows players to import or create their own custom avatars in Mini Royale: Nations and to take their Mini Royale: Nations heroes into thousands of gaming and metaverse experiences, to the Faraway Creator Program, which, in its early state, lets anyone submit their own reskins of Season 4 Premium heroes, we are dedicated to building tools that help expand our gaming ecosystem beyond the creativity of our own team.

For now, here’s the big update: As of today, you can now purchase user-generated skins in Mini Royale: Nations!

How It Works

User-generated skins are currently available for the following Premium heroes: Akuma, Batto, Daichi, Frozen Warrior, Hibagon, Holy Emperor, Kitsune, Kuma San, Mei, MekaShogun, Sakura, Shadow Ronin, Tokyo Rebel, Usagi, and Yugi (see image below).

You can only equip UGC skins to heroes that you already own. To view skins that are available for purchase, head to your Inventory and select one of the heroes listed above.

You can scroll through the available options below the character, and purchase directly in game by clicking the Buy button.

To complete your purchase, connect your wallet and set a target wallet, hit Mint, and approve the transaction in your wallet.

Congrats! You just supported a Faraway Creator, and now you have another cool skin!

Now that you own your very own UGC skin, you are welcome to do with it as you please. You can send it to a friend, but note that they can only use it in game if own the minted base character (you need to already own a minted Shadow Ronin to equip a UGC skin designed for Shadow Ronin).

If you’re staking for economic points in Clan Wars, you can stake your hero even if it has a UGC skin equipped. You can’t stake a UGC skin by itself though.

You can list your UGC skins for secondary sales as well. Check out our Faraway Creator Collection on Magic Eden!

Keep in mind that if you buy a UGC skin for a Hero that you don’t already own, it will still show up in your wallet, but you won’t see it in your in-game inventory.

Buying community skins in game is an incredible feature, but it’s really just the start.

This summer, we’ll be launching the Faraway Shop where you’ll be able to browse and purchase user-created skins as well as set up your own storefront and sell your own creations. More on that later.
