Taurus Quest, Bad Bunnie, Visual Updates and more: April 22 Weekly Release Notes
💫 While you're grinding the Battle Pass, our dev team is grinding through game updates and improvements 💫
Another week, another series of updates out in the wild. Read our release notes below to see what’s been added to Mini Royale over the last week 👀
Say hello to Bad Bunnie and jump into our newest Limited Quest 🐰
As of this week, there’s a new addition to the Mini Royale squad - Bad Bunnie. Bunnie comes in four lethal color variations, and can be earned by completing our newest Limited Quest by April 25 @ 11am Eastern. Like all skins that are earned from Quests, Bad Bunnie is part of the Loot Collection and will be able to be minted as an NFT when our minting function goes live in the next few weeks.
You can check out our minted Loot Collection inventory on Magic Eden.
Spring has sprung on Victory Lake 💐
The Easter Bunny left a few eggs behind on our Victory Lake map. Here’s a tour of our map makeover from FTX Clan leader and headshot maximalist Wey.
Announcing Zodiac Quests ♉
We’ve launched our first NFT-attribute gated quest. Zodiac Quests will rotate every zodiac season (shout out to the Tauruses out there!) and will be accessible by owning a Season 1 or Season 2 Premium Collection Hero that has the Zodiac sign of the quest as its attribute.
This zodiac season’s quest rewards players with Tauro, a stubborn but diligent warrior and your more dependable ally on the battlefield.
How do I know if I can access this quest?
You can check your Hero’s full attribute list in your Solana wallet, on Magic Eden, on OpenSea, and you can see their zodiacs signs on the game UI in your Loadouts as well.
This is just the start for attribute quests - we’re extremely excited to introduce this new aspect of utility to our Premium Collection NFTs and will be creating tons of Special Quests that reward holders.
Minor Game Updates 🆕
Settings can be accessed in game ⚙
A small but mighty update - Players can adjust their setting during matches by hitting “p”.
Chat has been closed - for now 🤐
In-game chat has been temporarily turned off while we work on some changes. Don’t worry, chat will be back soon and it will be better than ever!
Better error messaging ⚠
We’ve added some new messages to help players figure out what might be cause errors like inability to join a game, server issues, and more.
Enemy markers are now distance based 👁️🗨️
As of this week, those little red arrows above enemies will only appear when you are in their vicinity. We will continue to fine tune this update. Stay vigilant!
Guns are now smokin’ HOT 🔥
Mini Royale takes physics very seriously. Now, after a long burst of bullets, guns will start to smoke. We’ve also improved aesthetics for red hot bullet holes to fade nicely into oblivion. A small update but hey, it’s the little things, right?
