Release Announcement: Loot Minting is Now Live 🚀
A new era of open economy gaming has arrived. Power to the players!
For the first time in shooter gaming history, players can now mint items that have been earned in game. These items can then be listed as part of our collections on Magic Eden and traded freely. Today’s update marks the start of a new era for Mini Royale, and for open economy games worldwide.

👀 What is Loot?
There are two types of NFTs in Mini Royale:
Premium Collection NFTs: A finite supply of thematic character skins that are dropped by Faraway and minted during community and public mints. These are able to be used as in-game avatars, and come with a series of holding benefits like Battle Pass Boost, unlocking seasonal weapon and $CHEDDAR airdrops, access to the premium battle pass (after staking), whitelist spots for our mid-season drop, and more.

Loot Collection NFTs: an uncapped supply of weapons and character skins earned through playing Mini Royale. Preminted Loot items can also be airdropped to holders, tournament champions, and community contest winners. As of today, Loot items can be minted by players themselves and listed as part of our Loot Collections on Magic Eden.

🔫 What can I do with Loot in Season 2?
Loot Collection items are an integral part of the Mini Royale ecosystem. Having Loot Collection weapons and character skins will unlock the following:
Special Quests that reward rare Loot prizes
PvP Clan Wars that require weapons or characters with specific attributes
Holding benefits that require ownership of minted Loot items, like Season 1 and Season 2 Premium Drop NFT raffles
🔮 What will I be able to do with Loot in the future?
In terms of the Mini Royale roadmap, we’re early. A ton of functionality is being built, and in the future, players will be able to use Loot items for:
Weapon crafting mechanics
Staking for War Tribute Points, which are required for Land Conquest
Boosted XP gained from Operations (global standardized PvP events)
🤷 Why should I mint a Loot item?
There is no requirement to mint Loot items. These skins can still be leveled up if they have not been minted and turned into NFTs. However, Loot items must be minted in order to be eligible for holding rewards or staking boosts/benefits, and they must be minted in order to be traded on Magic Eden.
When a player mints a Loot item as an NFT, it will then appear in that player’s connected game wallet, and can be transferred to other wallets, lent out via lending platforms, or listed for sale on Solana marketplaces.
🌟 How do I mint a Loot item?
After you log in, head to the Loadouts page.
Click on any item in any of your Loadouts. Mintable items will have a white icon in the upper right corner of the item image, which will turn gold after the item has been minted.
Click on the MINT button at the bottom of your Loadouts.
You will then be brought to the Minting page. Hit Mint This Item, log in to your Phantom wallet (if not already logged in) and hit Connect, then Approve to confirm the transaction.
⚠ Note: there is a minting fee of 0.035 SOL per item.
After your item has been successfully minted, it will appear in your Solana wallet. It will also appear as Minted on the Mint page, and will have a gold icon in the upper right hand corner.
You are now able to head to Magic Eden and list this item as part of the Loot Collection. Note that items can only be listed in the corresponding Loot Collection for that season.
⚠ Loot Minting Limitations
There are two main requirements for Minting Loot items:
At launch, players will be required to be at least Player Level 20 to be able to mint.
Shortly after launch, players will also be required to level up each of their items to Item Level 10 before they are able to mint.
