Announcing the launch of the Lab, where Heroes and weapons are built, fused, and burned back into the abyss.

The Lab is now the home of an exciting new feature: Fusion!

Let’s Talk About Fusion 🥼🧪

Fusion is a process that lets players unlock special Heroes through various recipes. There are 3 main types of Fusion: Premium Hero Fusion, Loot Hero Fusion, and Weapon Fusion.

In Season 3, all Legendary and Epic Premium Heroes are available only through Fusion. Most Rare Premium Heroes come from Fusion as well, but some players already received Rare Premium Heroes though the Season 3 airdrop.

There will be 3 waves of Fusion recipes, with new batches of Heroes and weapons being available at roughly the start of each month. We are currently live with Wave 1.

While recipes will change and are subject to rebalance for new waves, there are a few main guidelines:

• All ingredients in Fusion recipes must be minted in order to be used in Fusion.

• Premium ingredients cannot be used in Loot recipes, but Loot ingredients can be used in Premium Fusion.

• Weapon recipes typically require more ingredients than character recipes.

• Once you include an ingredient in Fusion, it is removed from your inventory and sent to be burned, removing it from supply.

• $BUTTER is required for Fusion. The amount of $BUTTER corresponds to rarity, and is subject to rebalance/tweaking.

• It will take about 12 hours for a Fusion process to be complete.

• Fusion prizes are delivered unminted, but they do not need to be leveled up in order to be minted. They can be minted immediately after the Fusion process is complete.

Certain prizes from Fusion are required for upcoming Quests, and some will also receive Boosts in Clan Wars. Some prizes will also be required for Fusion recipes in future waves.
